SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
Program Overview
Servex Automations operates an automated SMS follow-up system on behalf of HVAC businesses. When a customer calls a participating HVAC company and the call is missed, our system sends an automated text message to acknowledge the missed call and help facilitate a callback or service appointment.
How Consent Is Obtained
Customers initiate contact by calling the HVAC company's business phone number. When a call goes unanswered, the system sends a single follow-up SMS to the caller's phone number. By placing the call, the customer initiates the interaction — the SMS is a direct response to their attempted contact.
This is an inbound-initiated flow: customers reach out first by calling, and the automated text is the business's immediate follow-up to that contact attempt.
What Messages Are Sent
When a call is missed, the customer receives a text message that:
- Identifies the HVAC company by name (e.g., "Hi, this is [Company Name]")
- Acknowledges the missed call
- Offers to help schedule a callback or service appointment
- Includes opt-out instructions
Example message:
